Staying in a cabin just 30 feet from the canyon's edge was a unique experience. The rooms are spacious, some with a fireplace making it cozy in many seasons at altitude, but having only a sink can be a bit inconvenient. I stepped out of the cabin and could see the grand canyon right away, which was simply perfect. The location is ideal for accessing Bright Angel trail, and the main lodge for dining was just a short walk away. The hotel provided additional facilities like water dispensers and shower facilities.
